I love the watch itself. Beautiful, well made, distinctive design. BUT, after having the watch for only a couple of weeks the paint (or veneer, or whatever they call it) started wearing off of the metal part of the links. Like so many, I work at a desk all day, with my left wrist resting on the desktop. I noticed a few days ago that the links in the band were already showing down to the metal (see photo). I haven't decided yet if I will return the watch, but right now that seems pretty likely. For over $200 I expect to get a quality band to go with the watch. Again, the watch is great to this point. The band, not so much.This was a Valentine’s Day gift for my boyfriend & he LOVES it! He is constantly getting compliments on it. His kids even started jokingly arguing about who he was going to leave it to in his will. Lol The craftsmanship is superb!Beautiful and sturdyDelivered with a bent stem. Returned and they fixed it. Within 3 years of occasional wear, stem broken. Company will only offer a discount on a new watch. Definitely not quality craftsmanship or materials.Recently - my son and I each purchased the same watch as a gift. Immediately upon receipt of the shipment, I contacted Original Grain Customer Service for instructions on how to return the extra. They will not accept a return. This policy was not clear at time of purchase; in fact the website lists a standard return policy. The watch was listed as a "Holiday Sale." It was not listed as a 'final' or close-out sale.' Those terms were not prominently displayed; not listed on my receipt & nothing was displayed during the online checkout. Terrible customer experience.My wife stepped out on a limb and purchased a very expensive Original Grain watch for me for Father's day. She planned ahead and purchased the watch in April. Upon receiving the watch in June, it just was not my style. Upon contacting Original Grain's return / customer service repeatedly, I was told it exceeded the 14-day return policy. I have left voicemails with absolutely no luck reaching anyone or receiving a phone call back. Do yourself a favor...do not purchase from Original Grain.Really cool design and great quality
