I was looking for a watch with a dial color that was a fairly close match to the color of one of my former cars (a BMW in Estoril blue). This Vestal was the closest color match I could find. The watch case has a nice solid feel to it however I think the bracelet is a notch down from that in terms of quality. The bracelet is also quite short. My wrist is 6 7/8 inches and I only had to remove one link to size it properly. This watch was four model years old when I ordered it so I was not surprised that it arrived with a dead battery. It was easier for me to replace the battery than deal with a return, especially since that problem was likely to occur on the one I would receive in exchange. All in all I'm very happy with it since it filled a hole in my collection of time pieces.The watch looks great and keeps good time. However the bracelet is cheap quality and shows scuff marks etc. if you lightly bump it against any thing.After wearing it for one week, I took off the bracelet and put on a nice calf skin strap, much better and looks great. I don't expect Vestal to put a very very high quality bracelet on a $110.00 watch, but they could have done a little better in my opinion.Other than the bracelet issue, it's a nice good looking dependable watch for the money.The price of this watch was reduced from where it had been for a while so I bought it. Came with a dead battery, and within a few days the leaf that indicates 4 o'clock came off and is now stuck to the side of the crystal. Now I understand why it was on sale. The color is also a bit darker than the picture describes.Pros-light weight-nice looking-good priceCons-Decent/cheap quality: Of course for the price you would expect it to be somewhat lacking on the quality side. However, it was only three days after wear that I noticed horrible scratch marks on the band. I was simply doing my daily duties, which shouldn't have damaged the watch in any way, so I am a bit puzzled.However, I am still satisfied, and will not complain due to the acceptable priceNot the most heavy duty watch but looks quite nice for the price. Got it as a present for my girlfriend and she's really liked it. On different websites I've seen this watch posted as a men's, women's and unisex watch but I think the rose gold color works well for a women's watch.I bought the watch because of the contrasting colors on the watchface; but am disappointed that the watchband looks like it was made for someone with small wrists and their was no provided slack in the band to make it work for a regular man's wrist. So I'm now in the process of trying to find a Larger watchband that will compliment the watchface.Bought this watch as a birthday present to myself almost 6 months ago. In the time since then this watch hasn't left my wrist. Looks awesome, built solidly, and can take a beating without a scratch. Be aware that on this model the hands don't glow in the dark. I had my watch modified by a watchmaker for about 20$ so that they do; the 2014 Heirloom watches do have glowing hands however I liked the colorway of this model much better.These Vestal Watches are pretty nice, although overpriced. But it was too thick, had to be returned.Was an okay watch till it crapped out after only a couple months of extremely light use.Good watch. Looks good. Functions well.
